Traded in 3DS XL and forgot to unlink Nintendo Network ID

$

I know, it was a knee-jerk reaction to trade it in so fast towards the New 3DS XL. I was not thinking straight and I completely forgot about system transfer and all of my downloaded games. My e-shop was linked to my Nintendo Network ID, so I changed the password in hopes of it being deactivated on the old 3DS XL I traded in.

My question is this: Is there a way to unlink my NNID from the old 3DS XL? I know it will say it is activated on another system when I try to log in on the N3DS, and I am fully aware that my saves are lost (which really only consisted of New Leaf and Chibi-Robo, all of my other games are cartridge-based). I just wanna be able to redownload the games I purchased when the N3DS comes out. Does calling Nintendo and requesting an unlink work? Has anyone had this kind of experience? I really don't wanna purchase New Leaf or Chibi-Robo again. I can't be the only person who ran into this issue ;n;

Thanks in advance.

3DS cartridge game save data

What happens when you start a brand new game on a 3ds, for example I come home with a new copy of nintendogs + cats and play it on my 3ds and start the game and everything but then you play it on another 3ds for example again, if my 3ds breaks or I lose it but i still have nintendogs + cats and get a new 3ds or get it repaired would I still have my save data for my cartridge games or would I have to start over?

3DS won't turn on.

My 3DS will no longer power on. I noticed a while ago that it would click off if I set it down on a table or something occasionally, and I thought about sending it in for repairs, but could not find the information, and it always powered back on. Now it has stopped powering back on. But I let it charge all last night, and it still did not power on this morning (it wasn't even getting a charge light). Could someone please point me to what I am supposed to do? I have looked at the "how to get your system repaired" page which is supposed to list all the problems I could be having and what to do to send the system in for repairs, except it doesn't have any listing for "system won't power on."

Nintendo eShop Error Code 005-4270

Before I begin, I have done a little research on this error code and have noted that it relates to the network status; however, after checking, the network status is in proper working order. I shouldn't be having an issue.

What happens is when I launch the Nintendo eShop app, it will do one of two things:

  1. Attempt to connect and then display the error code, saying that I should restart my system before trying again
  2. Connect me to the Nintendo eShop, display a Terms of Service page, and then begin downloading

Regarding the second point in that list, the download will eventually come to a screeching halt and give me the error code, and on occasion, the system even displayed a notice saying that it will restart.

I'm at a loss for what to do. Aside from checking the network status, which I've noted above, I also gave my undivided albeit brief attention to this topic at GameFAQs, which cites not having your Connection Settings set to "Auto-obtain" under the DNS settings. While this worked for a few users who posted within the topic, this was not my issue as my Connection Settings happen to be set to "Auto-obtain" already.

I really need to update my Nintendo 3DS XL, download the patches for Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, and download the special demo for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, so anybody who can lend me a helping hand will receive my unending gratitude.

Error Code 009-2913

now, usually i buy hard copies of my game, so i've never really had to worry about this kind of thing before. however, the new ace attorney game, dual destinies, was download only, and from the start i was having issues with it. mind you, the other few times i downloaded something from the eshop went fine, the most recent being the patch for my pokemon x, which i downloaded not too long before this game. with dual destinies, though, i've always seemed to have problems downloading anything

after purchasing it, downloading the game itself took several tries over two or three days, and finally i got it after putting my system in sleep mode to do it. however, the game has dlc, which i can't seem to get. the one i've been trying to download is a free minor dlc, so i haven't been as concerned about it, but recently they added an extra bonus case to the game, which is gonna cost me, and though i really want to play it, i don't want to pay for something i can't even get.

everytime i try to download the dlc, it looks like it's going fine until it hits a certain percentage (it changes each time) and freezes for a long while before the error code 009-2913 pops up. i'm out of ideas and i'm really starting to get frustrated with this. like i said, i had no problems prior to this game, so i'm not sure if it's just the game itself giving me problems. (and i've checked with my other friends who have it and they've had absolutely no problems with it.) please help if you can, thank you!

Pokemon Shuffle save data corrupted while transfer

$

Just a few hours ago I was transferring my data from my 4GB SD card to a 16GB one. I checked every downloaded games that I have and all were working just fine except Pokemon Shuffle. The save data happened to have been corrupted while on transfer. Is there any way that I can get the data back? Will providing my client number for the game help? My concern is that all the things that I obtained from timed events in the game will be lost forever so I was hoping I could at least get those back (I managed to get the Lucarionite back from one of the events from my old file so I'd like to think there must be a way for this) Any kind of help would be appreciated.

How to upgrade to a larger sized SD card?

My Nintendo 3DS has a lot of games and data on it. I am planning on buying a more larger sized SD card so I can put more on it. What is the most highest size limit the 3DS can handle? How will I move and transfer the data to the new SD card.

Recovering Corrupted Save Data in Pokemon X and Y

Okay, so I just had a very, very close shave. I'd beaten the main game of an eShop-downloaded Pokemon: Y Version about a week ago, and have since been working on making some competitive online battling teams while filling in the Pokedex as a side-project. I thought I was done for the night, but one of my friends needed something, so I went to open it up.

That's when I saw this before the intro cinematic even played:

"The save game data is corrupted.

Refer to the electronic manual for details."

Natrually I was very concerned. I had no desire to just lose 220+ hours of time and effort, so I opened the manual hoping for a way to recover my corrupted data, maybe by loading a backup of my SD Card data.

The manual plainly told me that loading a backup would not restore my save game data.

This nearly made me quite literally throw my 3DS out the window in rage, but I decided to channel that anger into proving the manual wrong and searched up some fixes. Only two possibilities turned up, found on these forums:

1) Having the SD Card read by an external source (i.e. copying data from it to your computer).

2) Constantly restarting the game and praying it would jostle the game data into suddenly working again.

Now, this time things worked out; the first solution worked for me. and Pokemon Y is working just fine now. But this was still a seriously close call that could happen again at any moment, and I've seen cases on these forums that weren't so easily fixed. So I have to ask this:

Why can't we preserve and backup our save game data of Pokemon X and Y?

I know the obvious answer I'm going to get is some vein of "because of hackers and piracy", but my impression was that these were already taken care of as best as possible, hackers by the "Bad Egg" error thing and piracy by the 3DS-eShop linking. I know there are always a myriad of people trying to break these games over their knees, but to be frank, these people deserve whatever errors or lawsuits they get. The rest of us who instead play the game legally have to deal with errors like this with no way of reversing the damage other than to completely restart, and it is not at all fair, nor does it seem worth the trade-off.

Before anyone asks, the corruption that happened in my game was an entirely random event. I save often, I've never recieved a "Bad Egg", I bought the game right off of the eShop on launch day, and the closest thing I've done to cheating is save scumming when breeding Pokemon and not getting a favorable result in order to save time. This random corruption was a major eye opener to what hundreds of other people must have had happen to them also, and I'm not about to turn a blind eye even if I did fix my data.

The point is: in this day and age where info and data can be stored on nearly anything with nearly any means, hacking and piracy notwithstanding, there needs to be a reliable way for the innocent consumers to backup and recover the save data for a mere video game. Is there any way to make this possible? I'd rather not lose 220+ hours of work again and not be able to get it back this time...

HI.

I cannot access the 3DS e-Shop, the error code is 011-3139.

The system states "Please restart Nintendo eShop and try again."

Is anyone else having the same or simiiar problem.

Note: I seem to have same problem with accessing the WiiU e-Shop as well, that error code is 107-3139.

Hopefully Happy Holidays.

Error code 011-3137 - Cannot access eShop

Hi all, after the 7.0.0-13U update and creating a new NNID account, I cannot access the eShop, getting the 011-3137 error. Additionally, I cannot update games (026-3137 error) and all games purchased from the eShop cannot be found on ym system anymore. I do not believe that the eShop account and the NNID were ever linked. Has anyone else been suffering from this particular error? It doesn't seem very common as no results show up on a web search.

The new updated killed my nintendo zone.

The new update killed my ability to use the nintendo zone. I have 2 3ds xl. One updated last night. I went to a McDonalds and the non updated one streetpassed and the nintendo zone icon said I was in the zone. The update one said I was and when I had it search it said "Nope no nintendo zone here" even though my other one and my daughters ds both said yes the is a zone here. So I updated my other 3ds xl and as soon as it restarted it could not log into the zone and said there wasn't on available, but my daughters 3ds, which has not updated, said the zone was still there and she could log in.

So how do I fix this and is there anyway to get rid of the update? We live in a very small town and the McDonalds is one of the few places we can streetpass.

HELP!

Thanks

Okay so I recently found my 3DS when I was cleaning my closet out, an I started playing Tomodachi Life and I thought I should check the eshop to see if there's an update, but when I tried opening it all that appears is the error code 011-2500. So I checked all the updates and Internet setting and it's all good and other games connect. I asked my brother about his and it says the same thing? I just want to be able to update my games.
