Error Code 009-2913

$

now, usually i buy hard copies of my game, so i've never really had to worry about this kind of thing before. however, the new ace attorney game, dual destinies, was download only, and from the start i was having issues with it. mind you, the other few times i downloaded something from the eshop went fine, the most recent being the patch for my pokemon x, which i downloaded not too long before this game. with dual destinies, though, i've always seemed to have problems downloading anything

after purchasing it, downloading the game itself took several tries over two or three days, and finally i got it after putting my system in sleep mode to do it. however, the game has dlc, which i can't seem to get. the one i've been trying to download is a free minor dlc, so i haven't been as concerned about it, but recently they added an extra bonus case to the game, which is gonna cost me, and though i really want to play it, i don't want to pay for something i can't even get.

everytime i try to download the dlc, it looks like it's going fine until it hits a certain percentage (it changes each time) and freezes for a long while before the error code 009-2913 pops up. i'm out of ideas and i'm really starting to get frustrated with this. like i said, i had no problems prior to this game, so i'm not sure if it's just the game itself giving me problems. (and i've checked with my other friends who have it and they've had absolutely no problems with it.) please help if you can, thank you!

I just got a Nintendo 3DS a few hours ago, and am trying to update it. When the system starts to update, it stops and a message comes up saying "An error has occurred. Unable to update. The system will now be restarted." I have deleted then input back in my internet settings 3 times, and still continue to have this problem. What can I do to fix this?

Thanks,

Traded in 3DS XL and forgot to unlink Nintendo Network ID

I know, it was a knee-jerk reaction to trade it in so fast towards the New 3DS XL. I was not thinking straight and I completely forgot about system transfer and all of my downloaded games. My e-shop was linked to my Nintendo Network ID, so I changed the password in hopes of it being deactivated on the old 3DS XL I traded in.

My question is this: Is there a way to unlink my NNID from the old 3DS XL? I know it will say it is activated on another system when I try to log in on the N3DS, and I am fully aware that my saves are lost (which really only consisted of New Leaf and Chibi-Robo, all of my other games are cartridge-based). I just wanna be able to redownload the games I purchased when the N3DS comes out. Does calling Nintendo and requesting an unlink work? Has anyone had this kind of experience? I really don't wanna purchase New Leaf or Chibi-Robo again. I can't be the only person who ran into this issue ;n;

Thanks in advance.

What happens when you start a brand new game on a 3ds, for example I come home with a new copy of nintendogs + cats and play it on my 3ds and start the game and everything but then you play it on another 3ds for example again, if my 3ds breaks or I lose it but i still have nintendogs + cats and get a new 3ds or get it repaired would I still have my save data for my cartridge games or would I have to start over?

The new updated killed my nintendo zone.

The new update killed my ability to use the nintendo zone. I have 2 3ds xl. One updated last night. I went to a McDonalds and the non updated one streetpassed and the nintendo zone icon said I was in the zone. The update one said I was and when I had it search it said "Nope no nintendo zone here" even though my other one and my daughters ds both said yes the is a zone here. So I updated my other 3ds xl and as soon as it restarted it could not log into the zone and said there wasn't on available, but my daughters 3ds, which has not updated, said the zone was still there and she could log in.

So how do I fix this and is there anyway to get rid of the update? We live in a very small town and the McDonalds is one of the few places we can streetpass.

HELP!

Thanks

Error 001-0502, Brand new "New 3ds XL" friends list constantly offline

$

Friends list is always offline, despite the fact that I am able to download games, view videos on youtube, and search the web.  Searched for the issue online and found multiple answers to fix the issue, but none have worked.  Xfinity Highspeed internet, don't have issues with connectivity with anything else.

I have so far done the following:

  • Verified that security/password and wireless mode was compatible. (figured it was  since most of the online functionality worked)
  • configured the 3DS to have an assigned network IP address, so that the ports the system likes to use can be forwarded.
  • Forwarded the 3DS network IP to have all ports 1-65535 open
  • Set a secondary DNS
  • verified the unit is within 30 feet of the router, and that any conflicting devices are not in the area.
  • Added the 3DS to the DMZ for the router
  • Deleted and re-entered the connection information on the 3DS multiple times
  • Reset the router multiple times
  • Verified that the unit requires no system update.
  • Verified that the unit works online for every function not requiring my friends list.
  • Verified that parental controls were not causing the friends list to be blocked.
  • Fully disabled the firewall, still friends list stays offline, and no multiplayer will work, not even random multiplayer.

This is very frustrating as the two games I have for this thing are both meant to be played multiplayer:  Zelda: Triforce Heroes, and Monster Hunter 4.  I have a Wii U, and a regular 3DS XL.  Both work fine with all functions.

Error code 005-5964 solution?

Hey guys, when ever I enter the E-shop an error keeps on popping up. Saying "An error has occurred. Please restart your system before trying again" The code for the error was 005-5964. This has been going on for the past 2 months. And I can't call nintendo for help because I don't have a phone. And I'm afraid that I'll never be able to access the e-shop again. So if anyone knows the solution for this error, please tell me. I would gladly appreciate it.

Recovering Corrupted Save Data in Pokemon X and Y

$

Okay, so I just had a very, very close shave. I'd beaten the main game of an eShop-downloaded Pokemon: Y Version about a week ago, and have since been working on making some competitive online battling teams while filling in the Pokedex as a side-project. I thought I was done for the night, but one of my friends needed something, so I went to open it up.

That's when I saw this before the intro cinematic even played:

"The save game data is corrupted.

Refer to the electronic manual for details."

Natrually I was very concerned. I had no desire to just lose 220+ hours of time and effort, so I opened the manual hoping for a way to recover my corrupted data, maybe by loading a backup of my SD Card data.

The manual plainly told me that loading a backup would not restore my save game data.

This nearly made me quite literally throw my 3DS out the window in rage, but I decided to channel that anger into proving the manual wrong and searched up some fixes. Only two possibilities turned up, found on these forums:

1) Having the SD Card read by an external source (i.e. copying data from it to your computer).

2) Constantly restarting the game and praying it would jostle the game data into suddenly working again.

Now, this time things worked out; the first solution worked for me. and Pokemon Y is working just fine now. But this was still a seriously close call that could happen again at any moment, and I've seen cases on these forums that weren't so easily fixed. So I have to ask this:

Why can't we preserve and backup our save game data of Pokemon X and Y?

I know the obvious answer I'm going to get is some vein of "because of hackers and piracy", but my impression was that these were already taken care of as best as possible, hackers by the "Bad Egg" error thing and piracy by the 3DS-eShop linking. I know there are always a myriad of people trying to break these games over their knees, but to be frank, these people deserve whatever errors or lawsuits they get. The rest of us who instead play the game legally have to deal with errors like this with no way of reversing the damage other than to completely restart, and it is not at all fair, nor does it seem worth the trade-off.

Before anyone asks, the corruption that happened in my game was an entirely random event. I save often, I've never recieved a "Bad Egg", I bought the game right off of the eShop on launch day, and the closest thing I've done to cheating is save scumming when breeding Pokemon and not getting a favorable result in order to save time. This random corruption was a major eye opener to what hundreds of other people must have had happen to them also, and I'm not about to turn a blind eye even if I did fix my data.

The point is: in this day and age where info and data can be stored on nearly anything with nearly any means, hacking and piracy notwithstanding, there needs to be a reliable way for the innocent consumers to backup and recover the save data for a mere video game. Is there any way to make this possible? I'd rather not lose 220+ hours of work again and not be able to get it back this time...

Pokemon Shuffle save data corrupted while transfer

Just a few hours ago I was transferring my data from my 4GB SD card to a 16GB one. I checked every downloaded games that I have and all were working just fine except Pokemon Shuffle. The save data happened to have been corrupted while on transfer. Is there any way that I can get the data back? Will providing my client number for the game help? My concern is that all the things that I obtained from timed events in the game will be lost forever so I was hoping I could at least get those back (I managed to get the Lucarionite back from one of the events from my old file so I'd like to think there must be a way for this) Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Why can't I connect to Pokebank servers? (Error code: 006-0112)

$

After a problem-free trial period, I subscribed to Pokebank. I was able to use the paid service without any problems for one day  However, for the next four days, I cannot connect to the Bank servers.

"Communicating with the Pokémon Bank server..."

"Error Code: 006-0112"

"An error has occurred."

"Please try again later."

"For help, visit support.nintendo.com"

I can use the Internet without problems. Other online 3DS features are working fine. GTS, the 3DS browser, and Miiverse are all okay.

I also tried the following to no avail:

  • Updating the settings to either auto-obtain, or using Google's DNS.
  • Re-installing Pokebank
  • Deleting and recreating connection settings
  • Turning off the modem/router for an extended period of time
  • Moving beside the router
  • Turning the 3DS off
  • Connecting to other ISPs and WiFi hotspots

I thought this is just a temporary server problem, but this has been going on for about a week now after I paid for the service.

Hello.

I downloaded yesterday pokebank and poketransfer. Today at morning I was able to upload 2 boxes from White 2 to my Pokemon X version (downloaded version, not card); but now (from 1 hour ago) I´m unable to correctly launch Poke Transfer, after "Connecting to Internet", a loading appears "Communicating with the Pokemon Bank server...", but some seconds after an error screen is displayed.

"Error Code: 006-0501

An error has occurred.

Please try again later.

For help, visit support.nintendo.com.".

I checked 3ds server and it says that it´s working fine...Could you please help me?

Thanks a lot.
